Machines

A machine is any computer running the Mikka daemon: your laptop, a workstation, or a cloud VM. Agents run there, with the tools and credentials that machine already has.

Commands

CommandWhat it does
mikka daemon loginSigns the machine in to a workspace through your browser.
mikka daemonStarts the daemon and waits for work.
mikka daemon statusPrints the running daemon's state.

Harness detection

On start and on every heartbeat the daemon reports which harness CLIs are installed and their versions, so the Coordinator only assigns work a machine can run.

Isolation

Each run gets its own git worktree. The daemon starts agents with a scrubbed environment, so Mikka's own device token and similar credentials are never passed to the agent.

Data directory

The daemon keeps its state in your user data directory. Set MIKKA_USER_DATA_DIR to move it.
