Agents
The three roles that make up an Orvilo session.
Every Orvilo session has three kinds of agents. Each has one job, and you sit above all of them.
Coordinator
The Coordinator reads your goal, the repository, and any linked issue, then breaks the work into items. It assigns items to Workers, tracks their progress, and keeps everyone on the same objective. It also handles lighter tasks that need tools but no coding, such as looking something up in a connected service.
Workers
Workers do the coding. Each Worker runs a coding harness such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor on a machine you choose. Several Workers can run at once, each in its own git worktree, so their changes never collide.
Reviewer
The Reviewer checks the Workers' changes, runs the checks it can, and prepares a pull request. Nothing merges until you approve it.
You
You approve every critical handoff: the plan, risky actions, and the final merge. Orvilo is designed so agents do the work and you make the decisions.
